Silver Creek Outfitters has been hosting fly-fishing adventures for many years now, and with each passing year we are hosting more and more. The reason being, is that anglers are finding that these hosted experiences make for the most memorable fishing trips. This is due to the fact that the hosted trip represents a great deal of added value at no extra costs. The “little things” that could ruin a great experience are taken out of the equation. There are no “surprises” with our guests, there are no “other anglers” hoarding the supposed best guide. Equal attention is paid to every one of our guests by the lodge and guide staffs. With many years of salt and fresh water fishing under our belts, Silver Creek hosts are able to provide a wealth of information, experience and knowledge which lead to our guests catching more fish than the solo traveler who is left to figure many things out on their own.

We may provide the simple casting clinic that makes an angler’s trip productive, we may match just the right guide to each angler, or we may simply make sure the burnt out light bulb in your room gets changed. Yes, we even keep the accommodations in mind, keeping anglers that want to be close to the amenities close, and those that want more privacy a little farther from the lodge epicenter. During the day Silver Creek hosts may help with a variety of non-fishing adventures for non-angling companions, or for those anglers looking for a mid-week break from the action. We may snorkel, explore beaches and jungles, eco-tour, body surf, take trips to Mayan temples or old Spanish Forts, or we may just relax under the shade with some island music and a cool drink. Out hosts are also versed in all the islands nightly entertainment, whether it’s the island game of Dominoes, Crab Races and bonfires on the beach, night fishing for Sharks or Tarpon, and in some places we may even visit a local bar or track down fine Cuban Cigars. Our adventures don’t always end with the fishing day, unless of course you want them to! How it Works
When Silver Creek Outfitters hosts a trip we normally secure the entire lodge giving guests the added benefit of having the entire guide staff, all the rooms, and all the fishing areas at their disposal.
Our hosts work to ensure that Silver Creek guests are well taken care of. We can match the proper guides and guests based on skill levels, goals and even personalities. We do our best to make sure rooms are comfortable, and meals well prepared.
