The main lodge facility rests upon rolling lawns and ponds, it is garnished and run like a traditional Argentine family estancia. The charm and history of the facility pours from every table setting, the furnishings in the guest rooms, the pictures and art, and of course the tails of amazing day, after amazing day, on this property. Fishing at Estancia Arroyo Verde is not fast and furious. The Rio Traful plays tricks on anglers with the clearest waters the eye can behold, allowing giant trout and landlocked salmon to test an angers skill and resolve. The fun is in the work, and the reward is some of the biggest fish Patagonia has to offer.

Estancia Arroyo Verde is a wonderful place for couples and for groups with non-anglers. It is one of the quintessential estancias in the Patagonia area and a place that ingrains the memory forever.

Trip Details

Location: Nuquen Province, Patagonia
Species: Rainbow Trout over 20 pounds have been caught, Brown Trout to 15 pounds and Landlocked Salmon up to 18 pounds. These are not the everyday catch but gives anglers and idea of what the river holds. Regardless the targets are big!
Fishing: All walk and wade fishing. Designated beats. Walk and Stalk sight fishing and blind fishing prime areas are both common.
Season: November through May, November represents the United States springtime, while May is closer to the U.S. autumn months.
Capacity: 10 Guests
Travel: Guests are picked up at the Bariloche Airport. Bariloche is an hour and a half from Buenos Aires via airline. Estancia Arroyo Verde is one hour from Bariloche in a vehicle.
Cost: $750.00 per day / per guest double occupancy. Lower rates apply for non-angling companions
Included: Accommodations, meals, all guided fishing, full bar and wine, airport-lodge transfers.
